December 2015 Life Update

December 2015 Life UpdateCan you believe that it is already December? Where has the time gone? It feels like summer was last week. Now, it’s almost 2016. Today’s post is my December 2015 life update.

November was a great month for me. I had one of the best months of the year for page views. I also received more e-mail subscribers as well.

Something amazing happened in November. I received my first 2 clients It’s a great feeling knowing that I am now able to make some extra money doing something (writing) that I have grown to like a whole lot. I won’t see the extra money from those assignments until later this month so I won’t count that as side hustle money that I made in November. Honestly, if you would have told me in January that I’d be writing for a couple of websites I would have probably laughed at you. It’s crazy how things can change in a few short months. I’m glad I attended Fincon a few months ago. I networked at the conference and things have been great since then. I have been finding out about a lot of opportunities.

I can count the $146.45 from eBay as money that was made in November. I’m happy with that. I only made $61 in October. I also sold a total of 9 items last month. That’s the most that I’ve sold in a month all year. Below are a couple of my sales.

Air Jordan X Power Blue and White

I purchased them for $6.99 at the thrift store.

I sold them for $40.00. I made $33 profit!

I purchased them for $11.99.

I sold them for $30.00. I made $18 profit.

This side hustle momentum will continue this month. As I stated last month I need to replenish my emergency account. I also am saving for a couple trips (including Fincon) that I have planned for 2016.

  1. Congrats on the new gigs and the eBay income! I need to step my game up on eBay and find the time to do so. I also need to start saving up for FinCon 16 early next year as well. So much to do!

  2. Congrats on the freelancing gigs, and you are absolutely right that it feels good to get paid for what you love. I miss selling items on ebay. It was a time consuming but easy side hustle. Because I live overseas it’s no longer an option for me. Good luck with next month and 2016.
