Time is steadily flying. July was a pretty good month for me. My page views dropped a little bit last month. I’m still working on ways to improve it.

7 Months Into My Debt Repayment Plan

Major League Baseball Stadium Tour

My debt repayment is still coming along. Another debt should be paid off in a month or two. I checked my credit last week on Credit Sesame and noticed something pretty damn good. Since January, my credit score has risen by 168 points. That’s a hell of a jump. It means I’m doing something right. Seeing that increase will help me stay motivated. This process hasn’t been easy. On some of the days when I work both jobs, I’m tired as hell once I get off. I’m doing what I need to do, though. It’s only temporary.

My eBay sales for last month were only $87.  Another month where I didn’t make $200. It’s time for me to start researching other items to sell. I also haven’t found any Jordan’s in a few weeks either. I’m sure August will be much better. It has to be!

I also wrote a post called “The Thrifting Challenge“. My plan was to see how much I could make off items that I bought from the thrift store that day. Surprisingly I haven’t sold any of them yet. Sometimes things take a little longer to sell than expected.

In the meantime, I decided to do another challenge. I purchased $32 worth of stuff this past Saturday from several thrift stores. I have a feeling these items will sell faster.

Adidas Soccer Jersey – $10

Nike Golf Balls – $3

Chipper Jones Bobblehead – $10

Al Franken Bobblehead – $3

Michael Jordan Space Jam Jersey – $6

I also worked on 2 new t-shirt designs last month. According to Teespring 1 of them was a copyright violation. They suspended the campaign less than 12 hours after I started it. My active design can be seen below.

  1. Wow that is some jump in your credit rating! Congratulations on that! Is there a way for you to research copyright before you print the shirts? That may save you some angst!

  2. Hi Jason,

    Congratulations on your credit score!

I hope you go on to sell your thrift buys soon. I advertised several items online and to date nobody has requested for them. It is disappointing. Perhaps I need to reduce the price or maybe they are not as sought after as I thought.

I will keep pushing as I am sure you will.

    • You may want to lower the price. You can also hold out. The buyers are out there. Sometimes it just takes them awhile to find your items.

  3. I can’t believe your credit score has jumped so much. That’s crazy awesome! You must be doing something right on that front!

  4. Best of luck with the $32 challenge from the thrift store. I think the Al Franken bobblehead will snatch $10-$30 here in Minnesota. Democrats love him here.

Also, kudos! -> “Since January my credit score has risen by 168 points.”

  5. Congrats on the credit score increase! That’s amazing!! After I got a credit card balance down to zero a few weeks ago the company immediately increased my credit limit in the hope that I would start spending more again. Nice try! I bet the Space Jam jersey will sell quickly. I love that movie 🙂

  7. My July was great, I think I’m back on the bandwagon! Sorry to hear your Ebay month was quiet, do you think it has something to do with the summer holidays and people not being bored at work? 🙂
