December 2014 Update

The grind is currently VERY real. I have been at my new job for a little over a month. It is going good so far. Today's post is my December 2014 update. I hope everything is going well with everybody right now. The grind is currently VERY real. I have been at my new job for a little over a month. It is going good so far. It’s going to get very busy in January, but I’m not worried about that at all. I’m there to make money and learn as much as possible. I also have been working a holiday job from 6 pm – 11 pm Monday through Friday. Finally, I’ve been squeezing blog work in there as well.

Some people may ask me if I get tired. Honestly, I do, but I tell them that this is only temporary. To get to where I really want to be at in life I have to do things that others simply will not do. Some people understand that while others don’t.

I’ve also been able to get current on the majority of my debt which is good. Even though the debt repayment plan doesn’t officially start until January, I had to crank it up early. The quicker those balances are eliminated the better.

My new job is giving us two weeks off for Christmas and New Year’s Day. During that time I plan to work on at least 20 posts including my 2014 year in review (Check out my 2013 year in review here) and my 2015 goals list.

I sold 6 items on eBay in November. I was 4 short of my 10 per month goal, but I’m fine with that. I was finally able to sell this jacket in the picture below.

I’ve had it since May.  I found it at a flea market for $3. I made a $7 profit from it. Every little gain counts.

How was your November? Do you have anything spectacular planned for December? Feel free to comment below.

  5. Nothing wrong with a little hard work! Success is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration so just keep on pushing. I find the blog work can be a bit much as well. I love the idea of getting 20 posts ahead. I might try and do that over the holidays too. Have a nice break!
